What Our Customers Say
Don't just take our word for it! Here's what fleet managers across the UK say about Crystal Ball on Trustpilot.
The installation of the latest S7 trackers in vehicles offers various advantages to a wide range of companies, industries, and individuals.
An integral part of the Thatcham Insurance Approved solution is that your vehicle is continually monitored 24/7/365 by our NSI Gold Accredited Alarm Receiving Centre. The monitoring service subscription options are detailed below.
The S7 Tracker gives you complete awareness of your vehicle’s location and activity, even when you’re miles away. More than just basic positioning, it delivers a comprehensive overview with precise, real-time GPS tracking and detailed historical journey playback, all conveniently accessible via your smartphone.
Leveraging advanced GPS and GSM technology, the S7 relays essential vehicle data directly to you, including battery voltage levels, ignition status, and travel duration. This invaluable information allows you to effortlessly monitor vehicle health, track usage patterns, and verify movements at a glance.
While the S7 offers robust tracking capabilities, it distinguishes itself from the more advanced S5 & S5+ models by not offering Driver Recognition and immobilisation. This deliberate design choice results in a simpler and more cost-effective solution, making it ideal for situations where driver identification is not required, such as managing a large fleet or tracking assets without individual driver assignments.
Perfect for:
Even when your vehicles are out of sight, they’re not out of mind. With 24/7 coverage from Crystal Ball’s NSI Gold-accredited Alarm Receiving Centre, your S7 Tracker is backed by the UK’s highest standard of professional monitoring.
As a Thatcham-approved S7 device, the tracker is certified to meet stringent theft-prevention standards recognised across the UK insurance industry, giving you more than just GPS data: it’s a verified layer of protection.
Should your vehicle be moved without permission, our team verifies the threat and takes fast action, including alerting police if needed.
Here’s what this means for you:
Designed with the needs of businesses in mind, the S7 Tracker delivers reliable tracking and essential vehicle insights without unnecessary complexity. It’s a strong fit for SMEs, contractors, or any business seeking to monitor usage, safeguard assets, and improve fleet oversight.
This tracker also makes an ideal entry point for large or growing fleets thanks to its lower price point compared to S5 systems, meaning you can roll out protection across multiple vehicles without straining your budget.
The S7 is a trusted solution for:
Track your vehicle live. View where it’s been. Get instant alerts. The Crystal Ball S7 Tracker gives you all the features you need to manage your vehicles efficiently, accessible through our intuitive app.
From routine daily check-ins to critical theft notifications, our user-friendly app keeps you informed and in control. Backed by Thatcham-certified performance, you can rely on the accuracy and reliability of the data at your fingertips.
Core features include:
S7 trackers are certified by Thatcham Research, meaning they’ve passed rigorous industry standards for vehicle security and are approved by all major UK insurers. Installing an S7 Tracker can help reduce your insurance premiums by showing insurers you’re taking vehicle protection seriously.
It’s also a more affordable option than the S5 systems, with no Driver ID Card or immobilisation requirements, making it ideal for:
Whether it’s a criminal attempting to tow, disconnect, or tamper with your vehicle, the S7 Tracker is designed to respond fast. The system includes Tamper and Tow detection, which notifies you the moment your vehicle is moved without authorisation.
In the unfortunate event of a theft or tampering incident, you’ll receive a real-time alert directly to your device. Simultaneously, our dedicated monitoring centre is instantly notified and will immediately initiate the necessary recovery procedures, providing you with crucial support when you need it most.
Scenarios it protects against:
Your investment includes professional, UK-wide installation performed by our certified technicians, directly at your home, workplace, or any location that suits your schedule – at no extra cost to you. We work around your needs to ensure your tracker is fitted quickly, discreetly, and in full compliance with Thatcham’s stringent installation standards.
When you choose the S7, you also benefit from our dedicated UK-based support team, ready to assist you with any queries or assistance you may need. Plus, you can have complete confidence in our transparent pricing: the listed cost includes professional installation, our expert UK support, and all applicable VAT – with absolutely no hidden fees.
What to expect:
The category S7 has fewer features than the S5, offering a more budget-friendly solution. While both models offer advanced tracking technology, tow and tamper alerts, connectivity to a 24/7 monitoring station, and an easy-to-use free smartphone app, the key difference is that the S5 has the additional feature of automatic driver recognition technology. This means that if a driver operates the vehicle without presenting their authorised driver ID tag, an instant alert will be sent to the owner and the vehicle monitoring centre. While both the S5 and S7 trackers are insurance-approved, the choice between the two models will depend on your individual needs and budget. The Thatcham S7 tracker costs less as it has fewer features, while the S5 adds a level of extra protection through the unauthorised driver alert feature. If you're not sure which vehicle tracking device would be best for you, chat to our team and we'll be happy to advise you.
When it comes to protecting your vehicle against theft, not all tracking systems offer the same level of security.
